August 15th: Wofford delivers acceptance speech at Democratic National Convention

Senator Harris Wofford accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for President pledging to bring America into the 21st Century through strength and compassion. Ratings for the televised viewing are said to be off the charts and have broken records of past acceptance speeches.

August 5th: Wofford announces Senator Howell Heflin as runnin mate

At a Press Conference today in Philadelphia, Harris Wofford announced that he has tapped Howell Heflin, longtime Senator from Alabama to be his running mate. Wofford explained that "Heflin brings plenty of experience and a unique perspective to the ticket. This ticket will work for all Americans, no matter where you're from or who you are". Heflin will campaign heavily for the Democratic ticket, and he promised that he will make the case to voters in the south that Wofford is a good leader.

July 20th: Woffford to be interviewed on CNN

On July 25th, Senator Harris Wofford will be on CNN at 7PM EST (4PM PST) for a interview led by Bernard Shaw. The interview could go on for up to an hour.
